  KROKOSZYNSKI, Zbigniew "Bob" - Peacefully, at his residence, on Saturday, November 11, 2006, at the age of 87. Loving father of Russell (Valerie) and Chris (Pamela) and survived by their mother, E. Ruth Krokoszynski. Beloved grandfather of Nicholas, Alex, Alison and Scott. Dear brother of Stanley (Teresa) of Poland. Predeceased by his sister, Stanistawa. Bob was a member of the Polish Legion (Branch 412) and was a veteran of the Second World War, 1st Polish Armoured Division and saw action in Poland, Norway, France, Holland and Germany. After serving nine years, he was discharged in 1948 and was promoted to Captain in May 2000. He was well known for his love of card playing, movies, swimming and dancing. Family invites relatives and friends to the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton (at Church Street) 519-742-4481 for visitaton Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. A private family service will take place at a later date. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to be made to Sacred Heart RC Church.
