Notes - WILLIAM JOSEPH ARSENAULT 1924 - 2006 Passed away on Friday, March 10, 2006, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Anne Louise. Dear father of Anne Marie and Gary George, Allan and Donna Arsenault, Pauline and Chris Luery, and Timothy and Marilyn Arsenault; dear friend and companion of Joan Rooney and her caring family; loving grandfather of Jeffrey, Daniel, Katherine, Taralynn, Deanna, Celeste, Monique, Craig, Heather, Stuart, and Kyle. Brother of Helen Perry (Cy) and Ernie Arsenault. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by an infant son Johnny, a sister Gertrude Warren, and a brother Eddie. Born in St. Eleanor, P.E.I. to Jacqueline (Gallant) and Joseph Arsenault. Bill served his country during the Second World War and was a member of the Waterloo Legion Branch 530. An avid sportsman, Bill excelled in judo, bowling, billiards and cards. He remained a competitive and passionate golfer. Bill enormously enjoyed all of his grandchildren and could fit right in with them. At Bill's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A brief memorial service for close friends and family will be held in the chapel of the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dave Jagger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HopeSpring or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
