- HERGOTT, Mrs. Bruce (Eleanor) - Suddenly, on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999, at Stratford General Hospital, Eleanor Lillian Hergott, of Shakespeare and formerly of Erbsville.
Born in Conestogo 56 years ago. She is the beloved daughter of Gladys (Cressman) Neeb of Wellesley and the late Arno G. Neeb. Eleanor was a faithful member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Erbsville. Eleanor operated Family Wood'n Things in Shakespeare.
Beloved wife of Bruce J. Hergott, who she married November 5, 1960 of Shakespeare. Loving mother of Sharon and her husband Peter Hammer of RR 1, Milverton, Lynda and her husband Rod Dietrich of RR 3, Wellesley and Michele and her husband Terry Steeves of RR 1, St. Agatha. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Travis and Jessica Hammer and Teshia, Tylor, and Kelsey Dietrich and Katelyn and Cody Steeves. Also survived by brother-in-law, Kenneth Heipel of RR 3, Wellesley.
Predeceased by her father, Arno G. Neeb, November 19, 1985 and also by one sister, Audrey L. Heipel, June 3, 1997.
Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley where family and friends will be received tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999 removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Erbsville for the service at 2 p.m., Pastor Olaf Paulsen will officiate. Spring interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Erbsville.
