  LICHTI, Percy Roy "Shorty" - Passed away, suddenly, at Hanover and District Hospital, with his family by his side, on Friday, March 24, 2006, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Imbeau) Lichti of Hanover. Loving father of Denise Shaw (Mike Sullivan) of Hanover and Gail Stickland of North Bay. Proud grandfather of Brian Shaw (Kristine) and Chad Yeo (Tanya). Cherished great-grandfather of Amanda, Michael and Julia. Shorty will be sadly missed by Sparky and Buddy. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Clara Lichti and his sister, Clarene Franklin and her husband, Mark. Shorty was a veteran and served his country in the Second World War and he also worked for Bauer Industries for 39 years and served as Past-President of Union Local No. 308. Shorty's family will receive friends and relatives at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The complete funeral service will be held in Ratz-Bechtel Chapel on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
