  GEORGE H. SMITH 1927 - 2006 Passed away, peacefully, at Trinity Village Care Centre, on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at the age of 78 years. He leaves behind his loving daughter-in-law, Rosaria Polizzi of Morrisburg, ON, and his beloved granddaughter Ashleigh Smith of Surrey BC, and will be sadly missed by them. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine (nee Millar) in 2002 and his parents, William and Elizabeth Smith (nee Butler). George was born in Toronto on August 1, 1927. He served in the Second World War, returned to Toronto and worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for 30 years. Cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held at Trinity Village Care Centre, 2727 Kingsway Drive, Kitchener on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 2: 30 p.m. with Pastor Joan Lee officiating.
