- HATHERLEY, Maxwell Bernard (Max) - At the Lanark Heights Nursing Home, Kitchener, on Tuesday, April 25, 2006. Max Hatherley, formerly of Burlington, beloved husband of the late Jean Hatherley. Loved father of John of Waterloo. Max was a veteran of the Second World War, having served in England and north west Europe. He was a retired employee of Halton Region Conservation Authority. A Life Member of St. David's Lodge No. 302 AF and AM - Past Master, Palestine Chapter No. 54 Royal Arch Masons, Burleigh Precoptery No. 21 Knights Templer and the Mocha Temple Shrine AAONMS. Private visitation and cremation. The family invite friends to join with them for a Service of Remembrance, to be held at Smith'S Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), Burlington (905-632-3333) on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 1 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy to CNIB or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com .
