    • Harry James Haus 1921 - 2006 Passed away, peacefully, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, on Friday evening, May 5, 2006, at the age of 85 years. Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Grace Catherine (Kaye); his loving children, Steven (Joyce) Haus of Kitchener, Susan (Rev. James) Neal of Pennsylvania, Mary Kay (David) Ramer of Shallow Lake, David (Mary) Haus and Murray (Jan) Haus all of Waterloo. Harry will also be sadly missed by his beloved grandchildren, Sheri (Romeo) Lupu, Melanie (Nathan) Loube, Jennifer (George) Tanev, Andrew Haus, Krista (Drew) Fennell, Kendra (Michael) Carter, Matthew (Rev. Tanya) Ramer, Katy Ramer, Adam Ramer, Darryl (Erin) Haus, Christopher (Annie) Haus and Kimberly Haus. Harry is also survived by his brother-in-law, William (Jane) Palmer of Kingston. Harry was a Flight Lieutenant and Spitfire Pilot with Squadron 601 during the Second World War. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1945. Harry was a long time employee of Uniroyal, Kitchener. A memorial service will be held at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Mark Harris of Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. A reception will be held in the fireside room of the Funeral Home immediately following the service. Cremation will have already taken place with a private family interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Ross Kennel and the entire staff of Forest Heights L.T.C.C. for their compassion and care. In Harry's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and can be arranged by calling the funeral home.
