    • METZ, Charlotte (nee Tonner) - Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, May 7, 2006, age 82 years. Charlotte was a member of St. Francis RC Church, C.W.L., Carmel Guild and volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital on the Auxiliary. Charlotte had also served overseas during the Second World War in the C.W.A.C. Beloved wife of Carl for 59 years of marriage. Loving mother of Marlene Metz of Hamilton, Janet Metz of Kitchener, Christine and her husband Dave McBrien of Port Elgin, Donald and his wife Pat of Winnipeg and Philip and his wife Joan of Waterloo. Survived by a very loving sister, Anne (Mrs. Anthony Tosone) of Rhode Island. Grandmother of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, Daniel, Bernard, Peter, Thomas and a sister, May McLellan and granddaughter, Arianna. Mrs. Metz's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at 12: 30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from St. Francis RC Church (Blueridge Ave., Kitchener) at 1 p.m. with Rev. Joseph de Viveiros C.R. as celebrant. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
