  TIMMINS, Eric - (formerly of Hamilton, ON.) Dad passed away, peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on May 17, 2006, in his 89th year. Our mom, Margaret Timmins, sadly bade farewell to her childhood sweetheart, best friend and husband of 61 years. Dad will be greatly missed, by his daughter, Susan Timmins; son in-law, Davy Inkster and granddaughter, Freya of Burra Shetland, Scotland; his son, David Timmins; daughter in-law, Sandra Timmins (nee Stewart); granddaughter, Leah; grandson, Jeffrey of Oakville; granddaughter, Alison and great-grandchildren, Willow and Oakes of Nelson BC. Cremation has taken place and as an expression of sympathy, donations to the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The family thanks Dr. Williamson and the Palliative Care team for their support and caring during Dad's last days. A lifelong sailor, a Second World War veteran, serving with the RCNVR, Dad will be fondly remembered for his passion of all things nautical, his love of the north country and devotion to his wife and family.
