- RENDLE, George - Passed away peacefully, at St. Andrew's Terrace, Cambridge, on Thursday, June 1, 2006, in his 88th year.Beloved husband of Joan. Loving father to Leslie (Lynn) of England, George Jr. of Cambridge, John (Elaine) of Waterloo and Paul (Donna) of Kitchener. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Terry (Tina) of Waterloo, Jeff of Hanover, Paul Jr. (Lisa) of Cambridge and Danielle, Monique and Julia of Cambridge. Will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, Rebekka, Alyson, Mia, Blake and Desoray. Survived by his two brothers, Gordon and Jim Rendle and his sister, Isabelle Drinkwalter.He is predeceased by his sisters, Marian Gammage and Jean Cameron.George served in the Second World War and was a member of the H.L.I. He was also a longtime member of the Preston Legion Branch No. 126. George worked at Cedar Hill Dairy for 25 years and retired from Hostess in 1984. Friends are invited to call at Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (519-623-1290), 223 Main Street E., Cambridge, today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.tlittlefuneralhome.com.
