- Elias Bingeman,"was born April 29th, 1850. On March 17th, 1873, he was married to Amanda Eby who was born October 31st, 1851. After their marriage they moved on the farm now possessed by Philip Beachy where they resided ten years, then they moved on the old "Abraham Oberholtzer farm" near Bloomingdale. After being there for two years they purchased Isaac S. Weber's farm two miles east of Bridgeport where they resided four years. In 1889 Mr. Bingeman purchased the old "Benjamin W. Weber" farm where he now resides. He now owns the two "Weber" farms adjoining each other. His family consists of eight children".

Elias Bingeman
Another aged resident of Kitchener in the person of Elias Bingeman passed peacefully away at his home, 22 Pequegnat Avenue, on Sunday, November 23, in his 81st year. He had been ill for several months. He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters, Angus Bingeman of Loverna, Sask., Mrs. G. H. Kraft, Waterloo, David Bingeman, Kitchener, Mrs. Ephraim Frey, Accadia Valley, Alta., Miss Linda Bingeman at home and Newton of Loverna, Sask. Also one brother, Jonas, of Bloomingdale, and two sisters, Mrs. S. Sander, Kitchener, and Mrs. Menno Weber, Waterloo. Two sons, Melvin and Nelson, and deceased's first wife, Amanda Eby, died some years ago. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at two o'clock to the Bethany Mennonite Church for service. Interment will be made in the East End Mennonite cemetery. Rev. E. Sievenpiper and Rev. S. Cressman will be in charge of the services. The remains were removed from the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home to his late residence on Wednesday afternoon.

Elias Bingeman
The death occurred at the family residence, 22 Pequegnat avenue on Sunday, November 23 of Elias BIngeman in his 81st year. The deceased had been ill for several months. He was born in Waterloo county and is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters, Angus Bingeman of Loverna, Sask.; Mrs. G. H. Kraft, Waterloo; Mr. David Bingeman, Kitchener, Mrs. Ephraim Frey, Acadia Valley, Alta., Miss Linda Bingeman at home and Newton of Loverna, Sask.
Also surviving are one brother, Jonas of Bloomingdale and two sisters, Mrs. S. Sauder, Kitchener and Mrs. Menno, Waterloo. The deceased was predeceased by two sons, Melvin and Nelson and by his first wife, Amanda Eby.
The remains are resting at the Ratz and Bechtel Funeral Home, 178 South Queen street. Funeral announcements will be made later.
