    • RALPH FRED EGERDEEN 1919 - 2008 Passed away, on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Klara Egerdeen, (2002). Dear father of Charles and his wife Sharon of Fergus and Susan Richards and her husband Fred of Cambridge. Cherished grandfather of Trish, David, Michael, Judy, Jennifer, Bradley Amy, Myra and Steven plus six great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother, Laverne (Ike) and his wife Marie; sister, Jean and her husband Art Elchert and Stacia Huehn. Predeceased by his son, Bryan and by his five brothers and one sister. Ralph was a longtime employee of Burns Food until his retirement. He was involved in many sports in his younger years. In his golden years he enjoyed being a spectator. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports and was amused by their antics. Ralph was also a veteran of the Second World War. Honouring Ralph's personal wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation has taken place and a private interment was held at Parkview Cemetery. Condolences to the family and donations to Grace Lutheran Church may be arranged through the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. South, Waterloo, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Ralph, a donation will be made to the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
