  FOOT, Albert William - Passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Flora (nee Moore) and his son, Jim (Astrid) and daughter, June (Peter Jansen). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kris (Melanie), Ashley, Leanne, Kyle and Josh. Albie actively served his country during the Second World War with Highland Light Infantry of Canada from 1939 until 1945. He landed at Juneau Beach and proceeded on to Caan. From there, he went to the Scheldt and up through Holland. He was a great lover of the out-of-doors and spent a good deal of his time hiking, hunting, trapping and fishing. He also was an avid gardener. At last he is at peace and his spirit can fly free. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre , 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 1 p.m. The Record Newspaper 2 Feb 2009
