    • WRIGHT, Frederick (Ted) - Passed away peacefully, in his 89th year, on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the Westmount Nursing Home, Kitchener. Loving father of Susan Wright (James McTaggart) of RR2 Shelburne and Jim Wright of Acton. Step-grandfather of Robert, John, Scott and Brian McTaggart. Dear brother of Jean Barclay of Kitchener and long time friend and co-worker of Len Hagey. Predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; his parents, Sidney and Helen (Finkle) Wright, and brother, Bruce. He was the Owner/operator of Ontario Office Outfitters from 1938-1975. He served as a President of the Stationers' Guild. Ted was a member of the K-W Sales and Ad Club, Probus, the Kiwanis Club and founder and past president of the K-W Downtown Business Association. He was an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and as a driver for Meals on Wheels. He also was a faithful member of the Unity Centre of Practical Christianity. Ted served in the Second World War with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. Ted's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 for Ted's memorial service on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place and Ted's cremated remains will be interred in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
