    • Hannah Bingeman," was born April 9th, 1852. She is married to Menno S. Weber, a farmer. They reside about two miles north of Waterloo on the "Mattias Haug" farm. Their family consists of two children".

      Weber.-Hannah Bingeman, wife of the late Menno S. Weber, was born west of Waterloo, Ont., April 9, 1852; died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 1939; in her 88th year. She was married to Menno S. Weber in 1874. She was predeceased by her husband six years ago. Surviving are their 2 children (Irvin B., of Waterloo, and Ida, Mrs. J. D. Yoder of Kent, Ohio), 1 brother Jonas Bingeman, of Bloomingdale), 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She, with her husband, became a member of the Waterloo Mennonite Church in 1885. She was of a deeply religious nature and was always very much interested in the various activities of her chosen church. Services were held in Waterloo, Ontario, Mennonite Church. The memorial service was conducted by J. B. Martin, assisted by M. K. Weber and Jonas Snyder. Texts, I Cor. 2: 9,10; Psa. 17: 15.

      CELEBRATED THEIR GOLDEN WEDDING

      Two of Waterloo township's most highly esteemed and best known residents, Mr. and Mrs. Menno S. Weber, who reside two miles north of Waterloo, celebrated their golden wedding quietly at their home on Friday, January 14.

      On January 11, 1874, Rev. Herman Seghorn, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, married Mr. Weber to Hannah Bingeman, daughter of the late Jonas Bingeman, after whom Bingeman St. in Kitchener is named. She was born on her father's farm and is aged 72 years. She recalled the eating of venison from deer from the woods adjoining the farm.

      Mr. Weber is the son of the late Joseph M. Weber, and was born in 1851 on the farm of his father, north of Waterloo, on the Elmira highway. Mr. and Mrs. Weber have two children. Irvin K. Weber, with whom they have resided for the past fifteen years, and a daughter, Mrs. Jonas. Yoder, who resides at Fentress, Virginia. There are also nine grand children, three brothers and two sisters, Noah S. and Joseph residing on the Elmira Highway and an other brother in Mannheim, while the sisters reside in St. Mary's and Markham. Mrs. Weber also has two brothers, Elias and Jonas of Kitchener and three sisters, Mrs. S. Sauder of Kitchener and two sisters in Rochester, N.Y.
