Edith Mae Schmitt, aged 70, of 42 Noel Cres., Kitchener. A member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, the WMA and the Sunnyside Auxiliary. Wife of Lester Bachert; mother of Ross of Sault Ste. Marie, Bob of Kitchener, Mrs. Reuben (Marjorie) Musselman of St. Agatha, Mrs. Clarence F, (Jean) Oyer of Heyworth, Ill; sister of Lorne of Minden, Harold of New Dundee, Edward of St. George, Dalton of Kitchener, Mrs. Herb (Vinetta) Feick of Kitchener, Mrs. Harold (Edna) Schiedel of New Hamburg, Mrs. Clifford (Rita) Knechtel of Petersburg, Mrs. Alson (Ethel) Bauman of Kitchener; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; predeceased by her parents and one brother Wilfred.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. today, until noon Friday, when removal will be made to Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church for funeral and committal service at 3 p.m. Rev. James Reusser officiating.
Spring interment Mannheim Mennonite cemetery. Donations to the WMA of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
