Notes - WELSH, James Wilbert - Peacefully, on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Saint Luke's Place. James Wilbert "Wib" Welsh, husband of the late Thelma Mildred (Rahmann) (May 15, 1992). Father of David James Busfield and his wife Marie of Cambridgeshire, England. Grandfather to Guy and Dominic and four great-grandchildren, Bradley James, Louis, Stephanie and Charles, also of England. Son of the late Marcus Willard Welsh (April 6, 1893 - April 19, 1936) and Elsie E. (Gregory) (February 1897 - 1933). Cousin to David Hodkinson of Kitchener and Robert S. Stimpson of Scarsdale, New York. Also survived by nephew of his wife, Paul Rahmann and his wife Audie of Cambridge and their family. In keeping with Wib's wishes, no funeral home visitation was held. A private family graveside service was held at New Hope Cemetery. Wib served in the Canadian Army overseas during the Second World War from 1939 to 1945. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. in Saint Luke's Place Chapel, Cambridge. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Saint Luke's Place Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Boulevard, Cambridge, Ont. (519) 658-9366.
