- STICKNEY, Harold Benjamin - Second World War RCAF Veteran, 25 year Club Member of the University of Waterloo, active member of Glen Acres Baptist Church and the 50 Plus Brunswick Bowling League. Passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 85. He will be missed greatly by Phyllis (nee Jack), his wife of 60 years. Loving father of Rosalynn (Cliff) Tubbe, Sheila (Jim) Lewis and Stuart Stickney. Dear Grandpa to Daniel (Lori) Tubbe, Christie Schellenberger, Stephanie (Gord) Tanner, Beth Tubbe, Brandon and Taylor Stickney. G G Papa to Alex, Abby, Joel, Grace, Gwendolyn and Griffin. Survived by one sister, Wilma Reist. Predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and Emma Stickney, and siblings, Ernest, Clarence and Vera Stickney, and Orvilla Reist. Will be fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Harold's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Glen Acres Baptist Church (223 Hartwood Ave., Waterloo) at 2 p.m. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Monday, March 23, 2009 at 10: 30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Gideons International of Canada or Glen Acres Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
