    • Ivan Habermehl, 57, of 480 Ottawa St. S. died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Waterloo Township, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Habermehl and was a resident of Kitchener for the past 27 years. He was employed for 27 years at Kitchener Dairies Ltd. where he was assistant superintendent. He was a member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church and the Independent Order of Foresters. Surviving beside his wife, the former Ruby Heintzman whom he married Nov. 12, 1938, in Kitchener, are two sons, Ronald of Kitchener and Brian, at home; a brother, Ephriam, Hespeler; two sisters, Saloma, Kitchener, and Mrs. Albert (Elvina) Fetter, Toronto, and two grandchildren. One brother, Norman, died in 1941. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 1 p.m. Friday when removal will be made to Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church for service at 3: 30 p.m., conducted by Rev. James R. Ruesser. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery. Donations to the church's organ fund will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
