    • Sad Death of Pte. Louis Benn.

      Prestonians will regret to learn of the death of Louis Kossuth Benn which occurred Friday morning at the Galt hospital from pneumonia following an attack of influenza. Deceased was 24 years old.

      The late Louis Benn was a veteran of the Great War. He enlisted at the outbreak of hostilities with the 29th Regiment, Galt, which sent the first contingent overseas from South Waterloo and very few of them are now left. Deceased was wounded in the side.
