- STROME, Emery A.-- Died at the K-W Hospital, on Monday, July 21, Emery A. Strome, aged 70 years of 69 Stirling Ave. N., Kitchener; he was a member of Emmanuel United Church, Waterloo, and the United Commercial Travellers Assocation. He operated Strome's Meat Market in Kitchener and Waterloo for over 30 years. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Strome; husband of Reta Good; father of Rev. Glen of Hanover, Donald E. of Waterloo, Mrs. Herbert (Darlene) Greulich of Route 2, Galt, Cambridge; stepfather of Larry Koch of Barrie, Dale Koch of Pembroke, Dennis Koch of Langford, B.C., Mrs. Norman (Ethel) Young of Kitchener, Mrs. William (Gloria) Mitchell of Ottawa, and Mrs. William (Carolynn) Ariss of Thunder Bay; brother of Mrs. Lloyd (Olive) Diefenbacher of Route 1, New Dundee, and Mrs. Maurice (Stella) Kellsey of Waterloo; he is also survived by 15 grandchildren; predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 7 p.m. this evening for the funeral service in the chapel Thursday, at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Robert Ross and Rev. James Reusser officiating. Burial in First Mennonite cemetery, Kitchener. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
