    • Mrs. Max Becker - Florence May Becker (nee Shantz) passed away peacefully at Winston Park Nursing Home, Kitchener on Tuesday, March 30, 1999. She was in her 92nd year. Mrs. Becker was a charter member (1924) of Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, a lifelong and faithful attender of the church and an active participant in its mission's programs. Also a member of the Helena Feasby Women's Institute and a lifetime resident of southwest Kitchener and Williamsburg area. Beloved wife of the late Max Becker (1986). Loving mother of Bruce and his wife Pauline, Barbara Schlegel and her husband Ronald. Predeceased by daughter, Linda. Cherished grandmother of Kim and her husband Ken Griffin of Waterloo, Gini and her husband Ray Patullo of Australia, Matthew Becker, Rob, Brad and James Schlegel. Dear great-grandmother of Katelyn and Kristopher Griffin and Joshua Patullo. Survived by her sister, Anna Cameron and brother, Frank Shantz and his wife Eleanor. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Mervin, Edward and Russel Shantz, and Erma Bingeman. Rested at Westmount Funeral Home, Kitchener. Funeral service was held from Stirling Avenue Mennonite Church, Kitchener, on Saturday. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
