- PARR, Harold - Passed away, with his family at his side, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, January 12, 2009, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Frances (2004). Loving father to Larry (Doreen), Gayle Webber (Bryan), Jim, the late Lois Yandt and step-father to Larry and Paul Geddes. Dear grandpa to Jennifer and Stephanie, Aaron, Robyn and Amie, Erica, Robert and Debbie, Holly, Jon and Breanne. Survived by his many relatives and friends. Harold was a Veteran of the Second World War as an Officer with the British and Canadian Navies. He was employed with Joy Manufacturing for most of his working life as an Industrial Engineer. His memory will be strong in the hearts of those who knew him best. Faithful and true is the character he leaves behind; the best monument of a valuable life. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. In memory of Harold, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Cambridge Community Foundation would be appreciated.
