- RENWICK, Kenneth Robert - Peacefully passed away, at St. Andrews Terrace, Cambridge, on Monday, February 9, 2009, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Ethel (Wilkinson) Renwick (2007). Dear father of Greg Renwick and his wife Galina of Dubai, U.A.E. and Valerie Geddes and her husband Scott of Cambridge. Loving grandfather of Sarah and Michael of Dallas, Texas, Jay of Cambridge, Chris (Chryssa) of Toronto and Allison of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Myrtle Renwick and his brother, Duane. Ken was born and raised in Galt. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War and was stationed in Gander, Newfoundland and Dartmouth Nova Scotia in the Second World War. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. Ken spent many happy summers with his family at their Portage Lake cottage. During his lifetime, he enjoyed fishing, carpentry and golf. He will be sorely missed by his family. There will be no visitation. A private funeral service will be held from the chapel of Coutts Funeral Home , 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge with Rev. Dr. Aubrey Botha officiating. Interment will follow in Mount View Cemetery. In memory of Ken, donations to Central Presbyterian Church or Médecins Sans Frontières would be appreciated. Our family would like to thank the staff at St. Andrews Terrace for all the love and all the very fine care given to our father while he was a resident there.
