Notes - SIDERSON, Harold - At Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, with family by his side. Harold Siderson, aged 92 years. Harold was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue and had served during the Second World War with the Canadian Army. Loving father of Cheryl and Georges Jansen of Annan, Ont., and Sandra Lee and her husband Michael Mason of Phoenix, Ariz. Grandfather to Ian, Jay, Sean, Jordan and Melissa. Great-grandfather to Sarah, Addison, Corson, Mira, Sierra and Jordan. Dear brother to Irving of Toronto and Lillian Weiss of Waterloo. He will be dearly missed by his loving partner and soulmate, Thelma Kennel, who was his constant companion and care-giver throughout his illness. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel Siderson and Dora Zimmerman; his wife, Eleanor (1998). Funeral service will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. from Beth Jacob Synagogue with Rabbi Yosil Rosenzweig officiating. Interment will be in Beth Jacob Cemetery. Donations to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre may be made through Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 519-745-9495.
