- ADDIS, Harold Brian - Peacefully passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after an eight-year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of Hilda (Lankin) Addis. Dear father of Annette Addis (Keith) and Jeff (Susan). Loving Grandpa of Lisa (Jeff), Courtney, Brianna and Selena. Survived by his sister, Betty. Predeceased by his grandson, Steven; his brother, Frank; and his sister, June. Harold worked as a Land Surveyor for many years and retired after 10 years of service with Canada Post. He was a Veteran of the Second World War with the Highland Light Infantry. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the Galt Sportsmen's Club. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home , 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Harold will be held from the Coutts Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. France Ouimet-Wilson officiating. In memory of Harold, donations to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Cambridge Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
