- DUNN, Alexina (nee Sinclair) (Fretz) (Cressman) - (Veteran of the Second World War). Peacefully, on Monday, August 27, 2007, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Homer F. Dunn of Mississauga (Streetsville). Sadly missed by her children, Alexa, Cathy and David. Predeceased by her husband, Elgin Fretz; her husband, Willard Cressman; her brother, Duncan Sinclair and her sister, Anne. Allie was born in Orangeville where she was a teacher of music prior to enlisting in the RCAF (Women's Division) and then taught music for many years with the City of Waterloo Board of Education. She will be fondly remembered by her dear in-laws, Anna Mae Fretz of Vineland, Erol and Stanley Shantz of Cambridge, Alberta Cressman of Edson, Alberta, Shirley Mader of Cambridge, Florence and Roy Kreider of Virginia, USA and Gordon and Verda Lichty of Palmerston. Friends and family may call at the Lee Funeral Home Limited, 258 Queen St. S., Streetsville, Mississauga on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 293 Queen St., S. Streetsville, on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in memory of Allie to the Lung Association or to the Credit Valley Hospital.
