    • EAGLE, SARAH ANN (Nee Ireland)

      A former Puslinch resident, wife of the late J. Marvin Eagle, on Saturday, January 11, 1947, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. A. Arnett at Naisberry, SK. Funeral from Stager-Russ Funeral Home on Galt St. in Hespeler on Fri., Jan. 17 at 2. Her body arrived by train on Friday morning. Rev. George Kersey of the Hespeler United Church officiated. Interment Hespeler Cemetery. Pallbearers: Keith Ireland, Chris Bond, Robert Heath, Edward Shantz, James Panabaker and Arthur Evans. Mrs. Eagle was bom in Chatsworth in 1864. After her marriage to Mr. Eagle, she resided on the old Eagle farm, near Puslinch Lake for some forty years. Her husband predeceased her in 1932 and in 1941, she went to make her home at Naisberry. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Arnett; two sons, Lee Eagle of Melfort, SK; Arthur Eagle of Detroit; one sister, Mrs. G. E. McGregor of Hamilton; and three grandchildren.
