Notes |
- Frederick Bock, "a native of Wurtenburg, Germany, where he was born February 21st, 1769. He came to America when a young man and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he was married to Mary Reichart, sister to old Christian Reichart who came to this county in 1800. To them were born six children, namely: III Jacob, III John, III Daniel, III David, III Samuel, and III Catharine. Of the above family Jacob was the only one who came to Canada and settled in this county. The others with their descendants are to be found in Pennsylvania, the Western and Pacific States."
Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character.
