    • ROPP, Edna (nee Wagler) - After being granted one of her last wishes of being reunited with her daughter, Miriam, who passed away on August 8th, Mom, peacefully with family by her side, passed on to be with the Lord, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, August 11, 2008 in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Elmer of Brunner. Loving mother of Laverne (Elaine) of Monkton, the late Miriam (Murray Wagler) of Crosshill, Stephen (Rosemary) of Brunner, Donald (Laurie) of New Hamburg, James (Mary Ellen) of Monkton, Larry (Susan) of Lucknow and Andrew (Wanda) of Brunner. She will be sadly missed by her 43 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, her brother, Daniel Wagler (Mary) of Stratford and sisters, Marie (Earl Bender) of Crosshill, Vera (the late John Dyck) of Bancroft, Esther (Roy Scheerer) of Millbank, Deborah (Joe Zehr) of Millbank and Florence (Andres Bergsma) of Rosedale B.C. Predeceased by her parents, Amos and Emma Wagler; her brother, Omar Wagler (Viola), Norman Wagler (the late Esther) and sister, Eileen Wagler. Edna was a faithful member of Fellowship Haven Amish Mennonite Church in Monkton. She touched many lives and will be sadly missed. Friends may call at the Futher-Franklin Funeral Home , 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church, Wellesley at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to Masters International Ministries would be appreciated.
