  Schmidt Clarence R. -- Peacefully, on Sunday, Oct. 1, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Clarence Russell Schmidt, of 104 Westvale Drive, Waterloo, formerly of North Easthope Township. Clarence was born in North Easthope 53 years ago. He was the beloved son of Annie Schmidt of RR 1, Milverton and the late Wilford Schmidt. A member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope. He was a truck driver with the Inner City Truck Lines for the past year and was a former driver with Route Canada. He was a member of the Canadian Order of Forest, K-W Branch; also past president of the Husband Social Club. Loving husband of the former Theresa Helen Brown of Waterloo. Dear father of Kenneth and his wife Pearl of Stratford, Robert and his wife Beth of Waterloo, Bruce Schmidt of Waterloo and Perry Schmidt of Kitchener, Betty Ann and her husband Doug Williamson of RR 1, Milverton, Tammy Schmidt of Kitchener and Bonnie Schmidt of Waterloo. Dear brother of Walter of RR 1, Milverton, Harry and his wife Carol Schmidt of Stratford, Herbert and his wife Patricia of RR 1, Milverton, Edward and his wife Rosemary of RR 1, Milverton, Marlene and her husband Gerald Boesten of Sarnia, Elaine and her husband Roger Pauli of RR 1, Milverton. Dear friend of Brian Little and Kevin Pitner. Cherished and loving grandfather of Alliston, Nichole, Jeffrey, Sarah, Jamie and Terry. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry st., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Tuesday, Oct 3, removal will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope, for the funeral service at 2 p.m. Pastor Wilmer Minke will officiate.
