  Noah Roth - New Hamburg - A leading Wilmot township farmer, Noah Roth, 66, died at his home on Monday. Deceased had been ill for almost a year. A son of Nicklos and Barbara Roth, he was married to Lydia Bender in 1895. Surviving are his widow, five sons, Simon of New Hamburg, Ezra and Aaron of Tavistock, Joseph of Shakespeare, Titus at home; two daughters, Mrs. Moses Brenneman and Mrs. Alvin Rameyer, both of East Zorra; four brothers, John of Michigan, Edwin and Nichlos of Wilmot ad Joseph of East Zorra; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Zehr of East Zorra, Mrs. Noah Helmuth of Woodstock and Miss Lena of Wilmot and 24 grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday to the Amish Mennonite church, 16th line of East Zorra, at 1 o'clock with interment in the adjoining cemetery. The Waterloo Chronicle May 12 1939 pg 8
