      Mrs. Elisabeth Gerth, Braun Street died early today at her home at the age of It following a brief illness.

      Born in Mornington Township. Perth County. on Feb. 26, 1864, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Beckner. Her husband. John Gerth, predeceased her in 1939. She was a member of St Matthew's Lutheran Church.

      Surviving are three sons. Norman of Waterloo. and Clarence and Henry of this city, and five daughters, Mrs. Valentine Schneider, Mrs. Theodore Hoerle. Mrs Arthur Thompson, Miss Irene Gerth, all .of Kitchener. and Miss Lana Gerth of Hamilton. Thirty- two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren survive. Two sisters also survive. Mrs. Margent Huehn of Wellesley and Mrs. Louis Yarco of Vancouver. B.C.

      The funeral will be held from her here residence on Tuesday, 2 o'clock with service at St Matthew's Lutheran Church at 2:30. Dr. John Schmieder officiate. The remains us resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday when removal will be made at the home.
