Loving father of Chris (Allison) Koebel, Steve (Jennifer) Koebel, Dean (Tracey) Koebel and Derek Koebel. Proud grandfather of Justin, Ashley, Matthew and Sarah. Survived by his brothers, Bernie (Karen) Koebel of California, Albert Koebel of Toronto, and sister-in-law, Mary Koebel of Kitchener. He was an avid musician, woodworker and fisherman. He touched many with his musical talent and ability and also passed this love and talent for music to his children. Friends are invited to share their memories of Frank with his family during visitation at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo (today) Tuesday, July 27, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The parish prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 8:45 p.m. A morning prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo at 10 a.m. with the Rev. I Have a Place in Heaven Please don't sing sad songs for me. Forget your grief and fears. For I am in a perfect place, Away from pain and tears. I am far away from hunger, And hurt and want and pride, I have a place in Heaven, With the Master at my side. My life on earth was very good, As earthly lives can go. But paradise is so much more Than anyone can know. My heart is filled with happiness And sweet rejoicing too, to walk with God, is perfect peace, A joy forever new.
