  • Notes
    • On Thursday Evening last the death of Mrs. Menno Schwartzentruber occurred at her home In this village, aged 41 years, nine months and 23 days. She had been ailing for a year or so past and her demise was the result of a complication of diseases. She leaves a husband, who is just recovering from typhoid fever, and a daughter of seven years. The funeral on Sunday was a very large one, about 150 rigs being in the cortege and at the Mennonite church on the 3rd line, many of them being from the section just east of Tavistock, where deceased was raised. Bishop Bender, of the East Zorra church, conducted the impressive services.
