On Friday, July 12, 1991, at St. Joseph's Hospital, London, Ont., Laura Carter, of 45 Community Center Drive, Newton, aged 69 years.
She was born in Wilmot township and was a member of the Morning View Amish Mennonite Church, RR 1, Newton.
Beloved wife of the late Emmanuel Carter, who predeceased her March 30, 1977. Lovingly remembered by her children, John, David and his wife Delphine, Daniel and his wife Kathy, all of RR 1, Newton, Ruth Ann of Newton; sadly missed by six grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, Tim, Dennis, Christina and Teresa, two brothers, Lorne Kuepfer and his wife Sarah and Ezra S. Kuepfer and his wife Miriam; brothers-in law, William and his wife Clara Carter, Joe and his wife Catherine Carter, LeRoy and his wife Clara Carter, all of RR 1, Newton. Also missed by a number of nieces and nephews.
Laura was also predeceased by one son, James Aaron; her parents, Aaron Kuepfer and the former Magdalena Steckly; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Christina Carter; sister-in-law, Ruth and her husband Ephraim Steckly.
Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton after 7 p.m. this evening (Saturday) and until Monday at noon, when transfer will be made to the Morning View Amish Mennonite Church, RR 1 Newton for the service at 2 p.m. Burial to follow at the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington township.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee or the Canadian Bible Society.
