  Flora Nelson Flora Nelson, 83, was born Sept. 5, 1927, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, to William and Emmaline Delion Robertson. She passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, in Edmond, Okla. Flora married Paul C. Nelson at St. Andrews Church in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. She was a homemaker, gardener, outstanding seamstress and clothing designer with encyclopedic knowledge of Scottish, English and French history, as well as English literature. She found deep satisfaction in creative expression, hard physical work, and her role as wife and mother. Flora is survived by husband, Paul of Chicago, Kitchener, Ontario, and Edmond, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa Nelson of Edmond; sisters-in-law, Ruth Dopf of Dayton, Ohio and Margaret Robertson of Cambridge, Ontario; grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Nelson of Los Angeles, Calif., Kia Cheyenne Nelson of New York City, N.Y., and Tait McKenzie Nelson and Cade Isaiah Nelson of Edmond, Okla.; nieces and nephews, Beverly Fuller of Tampa, Fla., Ronald Dopf of Cleveland, Tenn., Roger Robertson of Arnprior, Ontario, Ian Robertson of Cambridge, Ontario, and Colleen Robertson and Jeanie O'Brien of Kitchener, Ontario. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, William Robertson. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at the Matthews Funeral Home Chapel in Edmond, with other services at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home Chapel in Kitchener, Ontario.
