  LICHTI, Elsie - Passed away on Monday, June 18, 2007 at Stratford General Hospital. Elsie resided in Morningside Village, New Hamburg. She was born 70 years ago in Wellesley Township and was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Bast) Gerber. Elsie was a member of Hillcrest Mennonite Church, New Hamburg. Beloved wife of the late Harold Lichti who predeceased her February 4, 2004. Dear mother of Debbie and husband Tim Zehr, Denise and husband Doug Greenway, Tom and wife Liz Lichti, Paul and wife Tracy Lichti. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan and Samuel Zehr, Katie, Philip and Danielle Greenway, Colter, Skyler and Nigel Lichti, Taylor and fiancee Christie, Jacob and Joseph Lichti. Also remembered by her sister, Mildred and husband Ken Lichti; brother, Harold and wife Anna Gerber; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and wife Mary Ann Lichti, Ferne and husband Hardy Loewen, Arbutus and husband Ron Sider, Wayne and wife Dorothy Lichti, Nyle Lichti and friend Joan Miller, D'Arcy and wife Sylvia Lichti, Stephen and wife Linda Lichti and aunt, Mary Ann Ruby. Elsie was predeceased by brother, Lloyd in childhood; sister-in-law, Violet Lichti. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Wednesday) from 7-9 and again Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The interment will take place on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1: 30 p.m. at the 19th Line East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery. The funeral service will follow on Friday, June 22, 2007 at East Zorra Mennonite Church, (677044 - 16th Line East Zorra - Tavistock) at 2: 30 p.m. with Pastor Jan Steckley and Pastor David Driedger officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Wilmot Township Multi Use Recreation Facility or Stratford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
