  BAST, Elvy - Elvy Bast, 69, of Millbank, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. Born in Wellesley township, he was a son f the late Andrew Bast and the former Elizabeth Schultz. He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. He was well-known in Millbank and area as a farm implement dealer and had owned and operated Millbank Farm Service for many years. Surviving are his wife, the former Elizabeth (Lizzie) Schultz; one son, Ralph, of Elmira; one daughter, Mrs. Irwin (Betty) Steckly, of 71 Windemere Cres., Stratford; four grandsons, Dean and Rand Bast, and Steven and Richard Steckly; also five sisters, Mrs. Michael (Mary) Erb and Mrs. Sam (Emma) Lebold, both of Milverton, Mrs. Dan (Laura) Wilker, of RR 4 Listowel, Mrs. Emanuel (Clara) Zehr, of Poole, and Mrs. Elmer (Vera) Erb, of Wellesley. He was predeceased by two brothers, George and Sam, and one sister, Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Gerber. Friends were received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Milverton Chapel until noon Monday when transfer was made to Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank for service with Rev. Glenn Zehr officiating.
