  HORST, Orvie April 30, 1929 - April 14, 2017 Very peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital. Orvie, formerly of Elmira, was the beloved husband of Adeline (Eby) Horst for 64 years. He was the loved father of Barbara Rosado (Louie) of Los Angeles, CA, Margaret Rediker (Lyn) of Beebe, QC, Florence Hunt (Robert) of Kitchener, and Clare Horst (Cida) of Kitchener. Orvie is lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren and 12 great-grand children, remembered by his two brothers and three sisters, and is predeceased by his parents Samuel and Maryann (Martin) Horst, two sisters and two brothers. The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. An interment will take place on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Elmira Mennonite Cemetery. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Elmira Mennonite Church, 58 Church St. W., Elmira. In Orvie's memory, donations to MCC or Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated.
