    • There is a picture of Archie Nicol, trustee of Campbell School -1888 ( he donated the land for the school and there exists currently a cairn to commemorate this on the se 17-11-17w in the RM of Elton. Story accessible from Manitoba Historical Society, www.mhs.mb.ca Campbell School No. 186) picture in the book Homesteaders and Homemakers, A History of Elton Municipality on page 66. Some of Archie and Isobell Nicol's children are featured on page 65: George Nicol, Mabel Nicol, Blake Nicol.
