- A-1-108 Nancy McColl Probate of the will of Nancy McColl, late of the Township of North Dumfries on the Petition of John McNab (Edwin R. Gooding the other Executor having renounced) the Executor named in said will.
This is the last will and testament of me Nancy McCall of North Dumfries, widow of the late Hugh McColl Junior, of the same place. I devise to my son Hugh McColl, my Lot number Five in the ninth concession of North Dumfries containing one hundred acres more or less at resent leased to William Little; to him the said Hugh McColl, his heirs and assigns for ever subject to the following payments - He the said Hugh McColl to pay to my daughter Catharine the sum of three hundred pounds within four years after my death and to pay to my son Donald the sum of one hundred and twenty five pounds within the term of five years after my death and to my son Duncan the sum of one hundred and twenty five pounds also within five years after my death. I give to my daughter Catherine all my household furniture beds and bedding, stove and all utensils belonging to me and about the house. Hugh and Catherine to have use of my house and garden jointly until he Hugh pays Catherine the portion above named, and all the rent accruing from the land leased to William Little shall be paid to Catherine until that lease runs out. I give and devise to my son Hugh McColl all my right title and claim to lot number five in the Gore of Puslinch containing one hundred and ninety two acres more or less…and I appoint Edwin R. Gooding and John McNab Executors.
