• Notes

  At Galt, on Monday last, Jane Bell, wife of Mr. Gooddall, Farmer, Dumfries. The deceased came to Galt perfectly well in the morning, and having drank a glass of ice-water, was taken suddenly ill, and expired in about two hours.
