A veteran of the Second World War. Beloved husband of Isobel Martin; step-father of six children and their spouses, Betty and Carl Piskorski, Shirley and George Rothwell, Stuart and Shirley Burkholder, Donna and Ted Johnson, Charles and Doris Burkholder, Ted and Diane Burkholder; brother of Myron and Thelma Martin, Loretta and Eli Martin; uncle of Kathleen and Mike Ferguson, Janette and Clare Downey and Carol and Fred Reinders. loved by 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents, Noah Martin and Judith Frey; one brother, Emerson; one sister, Floratine and one grandson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1982 at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Chapel, Frederick Street, near Duke, Kitchener.
At the deceased's request, his body has been donated to the Department of Anatomy, University of Toronto, for the advancement of medical research.
In lieu of flowers, friends may wish to contribute to the Anatomical Research Fund, Toronto University.
