    • Jean Mae Lavery - Mrs. Allan P. Lavery, 64, of Elmira died Saturday, Aug. 14 at K-W Hospital after a lengthy illness. The former Jean Mae Denny, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Denny, she was born in Maryborough Township. She had lived in Elmira since 1940. She was a member of Wesley United Church. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Verdun of Galt and Graham of Port Coquitlam, B.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Opal) Chambers and Mrs. Glen (Lois) Gabel, both of Elmira; two brothers, Alvin of Palmerston and William of Acton; eight grandchildren. One son predeceased her. The body was at Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Tuesday noon. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Donald Badger of Fruitland, assisted by Rev. A. L. Evans of Elmira Tuesday at 2: 30 p.m. Burial was in Glen Allan cemetery.
