  Magdalena Snyder, "was born June 1st, 1840, On February 27th, 1872, she was married to John C. Albert, a farmer. They reside near Kossuth, Ontario. To them were born four children." Eby, Ezra E. A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ____________ The death took place on Wednesday. Feb. 4th, of Magdaline Snyder, the beloved wife of Mr. John C. Albert, in her 74th year. The deceased had been suffering for some time. She s survived by her husband and four children, Mrs. Yarick Pfeifter, Preston; Mrs. Albert, Groh, Berlin; Mrs. Eli Clemens, Gary, West Va., Susie, at home. Four sisters and one brother her also survive. The funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7th, from he family residence, 32 Whitney Place, to the Alma St. U.B. Church or service and the East End cemetery for interment.

She was born in Montgomery County, Pa., came to Canada in 1825 & married John Schneider on May 14, 1826, to whom she was married for 53 years. She had 11 children, of whom 9 survive her.
