  SPURGEON, Gladys Marie At her residence in Cambridge, on Monday, Jan. 10, 2000. Gladys Spurgeon (nee Bolender) was the beloved wife of the late, Peter Spurgeon. Dear mother of Karen Billings and her husband Bryan of Guelph and David and his wife Linda of Cambridge. Loved grandmother of David Spurgeon and his wife Louise, Todd Billings and his wife Michelle, Dione Lonsdale and her husband Daniel and great-grandmother of Kyle and Bryanna Lonsdale and Kurtis Billings. Dear sister of Fern Skidmore of Calgary. She was predeceased by one son, Peter and seven brothers. Mrs. Spurgeon was a member of Trinity Anglican Church, Cambridge. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Thursday, from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at 1: 30 p.m., with Rev. Robert Grisdale officiating. Interment Trinity Anglican Cemetery. A reception will follow in Coutts Family Reception Cottage. The Record 12 Jan 2000 pg B6
