  SPURGEON, Peter Harold At his residence, in Cambridge, on Sunday, July 19, 1998, in his 87th year. Pete Spurgeon is the beloved husband of Gladys (nee Bolender); dear father of Karen Billings and her husband Bryan of Guelph and David and his wife Linda of Cambridge; loved grandfather of David Spurgeon and his wife Louise, Todd Billings and his wife Michelle and Dione Lonsdale and her husband Daniel and great-grandfather of Kyle and Bryanna Lonsdale and Kurtis Billings. He was predeceased by one son, Peter; seven brothers and two sisters. Mr. Spurgeon, retired from Galt Brass, after 32 years of service. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, today (Tuesday), from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, July 22, 1998, at 2 p.m. Interment Mount View Cemetery.
