  Laura Fischer - Passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Forest Heights Long-Term Care Centre at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late William Fischer (1968). Loving mother of Marie Taylor, George Fischer and his wife Betty (nee Woolner), all of Kitchener, Ruth and her husband Milton Clarke, of Cambridge, Dorothy and her husband Jerry Eckert, of Kitchener, and Janet and her husband Jim Fiddler, of Cornwall. Loving grandmother of 26, great-grandmother of 59, and great-great-grandmother of 16. Laura is the last surviving member of a family of nine. Laura is predeceased by her parents, two sisters, five brothers, two great-grandchildren, Cory Styko and Ingrid Clarke, and son-in-law Reginald Taylor. Laura's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 749-8467. Parish prayers will be held on Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
