    • Horse Kicks Boy in Head; Lad Dies in K-W Hospital

      Kicked in the back of the head by a horse as he was returning home with his parents last evening, Amos Wideman, aged three, was fatally injured. He died in the K-W Hospital last night about eight o'clock.

      The little boy was riding on the floor of the buggy when the horse reared and kicked, one of the hooves striking him on the head.

      He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Wideman of Three Bridges,

      who were riding in the buggy at the time of the accident, which happened about three quarters of a mile west of St. Jacobs.

      The funeral will be held Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Conestogo Meeting House. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

      The body is resting at the Lippert-Gruhn Funeral Home until this evening.
